What We Do

At Sanctuary City Supported Housing, we provide safe, shared accommodation and comprehensive support for single homeless adults aged 18-55 in Hammersmith & Fulham. As a Christian organization under TREM Place of Our Sanctuary, we place our residents’ needs and perspectives at the core of everything we do, adopting a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to address practical, emotional, and psychological challenges. Our goal is to build trusting relationships based on mutual respect, dignity, and the celebration of each individual’s unique creativity and potential, empowering everyone to take control of their future—regardless of faith background.

We offer personalized support plans tailored to each resident, including:

  • Weekly goal-setting to foster self-belief, independence, and life skills like budgeting, relationships, and healthy living.
  • Training and education programs to prepare for employment, volunteering, or re-entering the workforce.
  • Mental health and wellbeing services, with risk assessments to ensure a safe environment.
  • Engaging activities and peer mentoring from those with lived experience to encourage self-expression, creativity, and community involvement.

Residents commit to a minimum six-month stay, participating in at least three hours of weekly activities, while we collaborate with multi-agency partners to promote choice, equality, and long-term stability. Through these efforts, we transform lives by providing not just a roof overhead, but a pathway to hope and self-sufficiency.
